Chicago Bar Citizen

It started as an idea and turned into a completely SOLD OUT event with 215 people, and we still can’t quite believe how awesome it was. From the packed house and great food… to the raffles, giveaways, costumes, drinks, shenanigans, and all-around Star Citizen chaos, it was one hell of a night. 😎

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and made the event what it was. Whether you were there from doors-open until the very end, showed up in full Squadron fashion, participated in the raffles and giveaways, helped someone out, or simply came to hang out with fellow Citizens, you are what made this event special. ❤️

An especially large thanks to our volunteers, donors, organizers, and everyone who helped behind the scenes. There is an absolutely absurd amount of work that goes into making something like this happen, and we could not have pulled it off without you. If you’re interested in volunteering and maybe didn’t get a chance to enter your email on the survey card, please just shoot me a link using any of the Contact forms on this website.

We also want to thank everyone for being so patient and understanding as we choreographed this sold-out crowd and all the inevitable chaos that came with putting 200+ Citizens in the bar! It was rough but we did it! 🙂

We hope you left with some good memories, some awesome loot, and at least one story that gets progressively less believable every time you tell it.

SPEAKING OF LOOT!!! Some of you haven’t contacted me with your codes yet to redeem your prizes! Please do so, so I can get those to you! And don’t worry, we are going to try a different way of organizing giveaway redemptions until we find what works…. 😘

An astonishing 63% of you just had your first Bar Citizen – and I hope it was a fabulous beginning to more times ahead! Glad to see all the returning faces as well! See you again soon!
